Over 40 years of construction and utility experience first starting with Bechtel Construction building nuclear power plants, and then switching over to utility engineering, construction and management in the electric, gas and telecommunications industry working for Philadelphia Electric, Exelon, PPL Electric Utilities, Diamond Communications and now Crown Castle since 2018.
Currently Director Network Safety, responsible for the Crown Castle Fiber and Small Cell Network Team safety and fleet safety with over 2800 employees and 1100 vehicles.
Some of my career highlights included developing a CDMA wireless automated meter reading system for PPL large power electric customers, building over 200 colocation cellular sites on high voltage transmission lines, and leading the first NATE SEMC Safety Sleeve Testing and white paper.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and OSHA 500 Instructor.
I live on a small farm in Kutztown Pennsylvania with my wife of 26 years, Rachael, and we have three sons. Two who have graduated from Penn State and the youngest is a Junior at Kutztown State University. I enjoy traveling with my wife to new places, hunting and fishing, and in my spare time working in my shop on cars and my old trucks.
