Faramarz Maghsoodlou

Faramarz Maghsoodlou is the senior director and global lead for energy and utilities in Qualcomm’s Industrial and Embedded IoT business unit. Faramarz is responsible for driving Qualcomm’s strategy and engagement with clients and partners across the energy value chain. His work experience spans across multiple industries, including power and energy, IT, telecommunications, and semiconductors. Prior to joining Qualcomm Faramarz was with ABB, Cisco, OATI, DNV GL, and Sun Microsystems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Case Western University.
