Travis is a Principal Engineer with Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association in Denver Colorado. Responsibilities in this role include designing, implementing, modifying, and documenting new and/or existing telecommunications systems & facilities, and ensuring compliance of Tri-State’s Interactive Remote Access system. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Dec of 2000. Is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado and Nebraska. Travis had the honor of being the student chairperson of IEEE at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In a professional capacity he has served as a Regional Chair, Audit Committee Chair, and on the Board of Directors of UTC. In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids traveling, attending various sporting events, hiking, snowboarding, and watching his kids play soccer.
